Abrasive Shot Blasting

Alkemi MFT provide a shotblasting servce to prepare a wide range of items in readiness for the application of finishing treatments or prior to the renovation of items.

Our shotblasting booth is capable of handling items from small  domestic goods upto large industrial items.

Abrasive blasting is a method of propelling abrasive using a compressed gas (typically air) or pressurized liquid (typically water) as the propellant.

There are numerous generic terms for this application usually related to the abrasive media in use; common terms include sand blasting, shot blasting, grit blasting, bead blasting and blast cleaning.
